COWW NEWS

Good morning all ye servants of evil (either that or McDonalds, but then,
evil/McDonalds, same thing!) Its time for an all great, all new installment
of complete buttshite! :-)

THE COWW WEBSITE HAS MOVED
Yes, the topic does not lie, our beloved COWW website is off of aol, and
onto a bigger, better website provider! It is now at fortune city, but its
new url escapes me at the moment. If you want to see the new and improved
site, just go to the old url and it will link you to the new one. Some of
Zo's movie is on the site (nice job Zo, if you're reading this) and its
pretty good, it skips every now and then, but maybe that's just my computer
and not the website. JON: Convert the music from wav. to mp3 format, it
has the same sound quality, and it takes up MUCHMUCHMUCH less space, faster
download!

STILL IN THE SEARCH FOR HELP WITH WEBSITE!!!!!!
Even after how many times I've asked, barely anybody has done anything at
all for the website! Please, if you have ANY writing, artwork, music, neat
photos, movie/cd/book reviews, ANYTHING that you don't mind being posted in
the public domain, let me know dammit :-)

SOON IT SHALL BE PHOTO SHOOT TIME
Just for fun, I wanted to do a dark and demented photo shoot for anybody
who doesn't mind having their ugly faces posted online (joking, you're all
beautiful in your own way, except for maybe Josh... =P and for the rest of
you guys, I'm not saying that buy your looks no offense, I just don't judge
guys) This is not going to be a basic school photo type shoot, this is
going to be a fun thing, you can dress any way you choose, and do any pose,
no matter how corny (no nudes, sorry). And I'd like for the pics to be in
black and white, just to look scarier :-) We also need to steal stuff from
Greg, want to do 2 inanimate object photo shoots, one photo section for
Horatio (the squeaky duck!) and one hor his stoned looking stuffed cow (our
mascot!). THIS WILL GO FAST, FIRST COME FIRST SERVED, ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO
POSE WITH HORATIO MUST SIGN UP NOW! 2 girls/2 guys and Horatio in the photo
shoot, I've got some strange ideas for that silly duck. John and Whitney
have volunteered at some point to work as photogrophers, but to get work
done faster, anybody else who wants to work on that is welcome to as well.
I want to take some pics too! Again, black and white pictures would be more
fun, and feel free to look as scary as possible, if you want to have some
pics taken.

A FEW PEOPLE ARE STILL LEFT OUT OF THIS MAILING LIST
I don't even know if they have their own net access, but there are a few
people I feel should be recieving these e-mails and know about the website
who I don't have any way of contacting. If any of the following people are
online, please let me know
	Becky L.
	Erik & William W.
Jesse (not sure of his last name. You should know who I'm talking about
still)
Tiffany (again, not sure of last name)
Amy (also not sure of last name)
That girl who'se always taking the caffeine pills who I can never remember
what her name is.. I call her Twitchy =P It begins with T... Tammi? Is that
it? Can't remember!

IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING NEW
It has been brought to my attention that I bitch and complain about the
mall too much each week. Probably because I hate the mall. Makes ye wonder
why I go there most every week doesn't it. I'm probably not the only one
who just goes there to hang out, I never buy anything there except coffee,
unless Jen's working at Sweets Form heaven. Still, I hate the mall and I'm
trying to think of some new thing to do! It can not involve everyone of
course, but I want to get at least SOME people back into the habit of
playing some sort of role playing game on a semi-regular basis. I've got a
few games planned, Vampire, Werewolf, and some mishmashes of both. If you'd
be interested in getting back into that, let me know. I realize that there
have never been any girls playing the games (Kristina humored me and Greg
once by playing, but that was it) wonder why that is? Seems most girls are
afraid to confess they like that sort of thing, either that or they just
won't give it a chance. I encourage more to try though, games are more fun
with a bigger variety of people :-) If you're interested in playing, or
think ye have a house that ye could have people over to play AT, let me
know.

COUCH POTATO HAPPY HOUR(S)
Another thing that has come to my attention is that too many of my friends
have never seen some of the best movies ever made (in my whacked out and
crazy opinion.) A FEW PEOPLE STILL HAVEN'T SEEN ROCKY HORROR!!! But other
than that, there are many a better movie. Too cure some people of this, if
any people feel they have enough of an attention span to sit around, hang
out, munch on snacky things and watch movies for a while, I'd like to do
some themed movie marathon type things. Of course be me saying that, it
means at somebody else's house, as my parents let me have like 1 party a
year... so if anybody is interested in that sort of thing, or can host, let
me know. I have the huge movie collection, I can supply the movies, believe
me!
Some ideas for themed movie marathons:
KEVIN SMITH MOVIES! Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy
ROMANCE ON CRACK! Natural Born Killers, The Nightmare Before Christmas,
Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, Harold & Maude (too many movies here,
just pick a few, wouldn't watch them all!)
HORROR MOCKERY! Evil dead 2, Army of Darkness, Repossessed, Scream, Scream
2
SURREAL & CONFUSING THINGS: Dark City, Labyrinthe, The Matrix (when it
comes to video) 12 Monkeys, Time Bandits
TERRY GILLIAM'S BEST: Brazil, 12 Monkeys, Time Bandits, The Fisher King,
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
KILL THE EASTER BUNNY! Mallrats, Critters 2 (in both of these movies, the
easter bunny is either beaten up or killed :-), Nightmare Before Christmas
JOHN WATERS! Pecker, Hairspray, Cry Baby
JOHNNY DEPP: Benny & Joon, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Cry Baby,
Nightmare on Elm Street, Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands
MONTY PYTHON: The search for the holy Grail, the Life of Brian, The Meaning
of Life
ANIME: I don't know much about anime... any ideas, Monica?
OTHER STRANGE ANIMATION: American Pop. Wizards, Twice Upon a Time
DEMONIC CUTE THINGS: Gremlins, Gremlins 2, Critters, Critters 2
I HATE FUCKING CHRISTMAS: Scrooged, Nightmare Before Christmas, Gremlins
(takes place on X-mas!)
TIM BURTON: Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Ed
Wood
	Any other ideas are welcome

cd reviews: JOHN: pose these on site in Entertainment section!

BEN FOLDS FIVE: THE UNAUTHORIZED BIOGRAPHY OF REINHOLD MESSNER
I haven't listened to the cd enough times yet to get a truly good feel for
it, but so far as I can tell, its a fairly powerful album. A few of the
songs REALLY stand out, the rest don't just yet, but on a few more
listenings I'm sure it will grow on me. Not quite as good as their last
album, but its very hard to top that, "Whatever and Ever Amen" was a GREAT
album. The music is played well, but it seems to be a bit slower, more down
to earth album, and they lyrics seem interesting. I haven't read the lyric
booklet yet, so I'm not really sure if its an ongoing story, the title might
just be a title and not a story. Grade: B+

BARENAKED LADIES: ROCK SPECTACLE
This live album came out before "stunt" so no chance of finding "one week"
or other greats from that album on here, but it lets you remember that
Barenaked Ladies had lots of great stuff BEFORE Stunt. The songs were great
on their original recordings, and they are even more powerful when performed
live. Grade: A

Anybody else who wants to review ANY cds/movies/books, new or recent is
welcome AND encouraged. It will get posted for the site, it will be
identified by your initials.

Umm, guess that's finally all I have to say! Well, until next time then,
see some of ye tonight, the rest of you when your'e lucky enough to see me
again :-)
